Got 2130 points - one minor thing was, when I died I couldn't read the round I got (maybe it was 19 or 15 or 16 I dunno).

extremely engaging in its simplicity, really stellar soundtrack, appealing visual style and design, not really much to complain about here! i began to feel a bit sorry for the protagonist though :( what a hellish place to be stuck in for the rest of eternity, in perpetual combat...speaking of which, the combat is, while extremely simple, so fucking fun, taking down a bunch of demons coming at you has no right to feel so satisfying. the score-based gameplay goes a long way to make it a hard game to put down, seeing those numbers rise above what youve ever accomplished before, lots of appeal for people into that sort of thing. though i dont think a little weapon variety would hurt! another gun or two to pick up on your travels through this maze of torment. then again, thatd come at the sacrifice of the aforementioned simplicity, its a tightrope to walk, design wise. all in all though, i LOVED this game and will definitely be busting it out on game nights with friends.
